I burned myself badly while making this ring hahaha. It’s made out of steel and copper.
So i’m not very good at doing small detailed work thus I pushed myself to do something small and delicate.

A flash challenge was thrown by our metalsmith teacher Peg Fetter. You must Bezel set a stone on a surface that will be used as a pendant. This is what I came up with. I cut out a whole in the back of the stone so that the light may shine through.
I’m really enjoying making these ‘spoons’. They are so intimate and tactile. Copper is a very sensual metal. I like the raw look that my work has, almost primitive. Let me know your thoughts. I like thoughts. Oh, and I love my teacher Peg Fetter.
